What will you be doing during the bun challenge?
I will be co-washing, moisturizing and putting my hair in different styled buns. Twisted buns, high buns, low buns, side buns, etc. There are SO many types you can do. They are protective, and cute.
Why are you doing this?
Its simple. Low manipulation, easy styling, a classy look and I want to retain as much length as possible. School is starting in two weeks (I am graduating with a Finance degree in May!) so I won't have as much free time to dedicate to styling.
What will your routine be?
Deep condition - Greek yogurt homemade deep conditioner
Co-Wash - Nourish spa or tea tree tingle
Moisturize - Giovanni direct leave in
Seal - Oil mix or whipped shea butter
Bun - Laying down fly-aways with eco styler gel
Describe your routine.
Last night I deep conditioned with my Greek yogurt homemade conditioner, and co-washed with nourish spa. When I got out of the shower I applied my Giovanni direct leave in conditioner and sealed with oil. I threw on a little shea moisture styling milk for added moisture and the scent. I love that scent! Then I applied eco styler gel to the front, sides and back. Then using my tangle teezer, I smoothed my hair into a high pony. I put 6 large twists in the bun to stretch it. It was still wet this morning so I just took them out and created a fluffy high bun.
So I will try to show you the majority of my different buns that I do. I think I have gotten much better about taking pics and what not. :) I am so excited about how this will affect my hair!
